An empirical study on the impact of employee voice and silence on destructive leadership and organizational culture

چکیده

This paper is an outcome of the business ethics course conducted during third semester MBA and aims to examine how a subordinate employee’s response, either by raising concern or being quiet repeated misbehavior leader, impacts organization. Primary data was collected from employees mid-sized IT companies in India using five-point Likert scale questionnaire. Structural equation modeling has been used analyze data. Mediation analysis verify mediating role organizational culture. It found that if employee feels safe environment, they open up suggestions else suppress their thoughts escape repercussion. The shows silence voice organization have impact on organization’s implications this study show leaders violate integrity vandalizing organization's objectives, outcomes, assets, well-being co-employees. Previous studies not focused culture silence.
